31st December 2006 - The Last Day of 2006

Wanted to read thr all the blogs I’ve written in 2006. But was kinda lazy…

thinking back~

I remember last time during the last lab meetin fot the yr, SHE will ask us how many papers we wana publish the NEXT yr.

For the very first yr, I told myself, I must publish 1… then 2… then 3… more & more… But… … I duno since when, I dropped this resolution. Publishing papers ain’t as important to me as last time, I have lost the drive. Now, wat’s more impt is MONEY!!! I’ve not exactly become a money grabber. But in order to achieve my goal, I muzt strive harder… I wan PAY raise every yr!!! I demand BONUS… a hefty sum if possible!!!

I finally gain back my confidence which I’ve lost some time ago (cant remember when). I obtained my driving license & drove the very first time in overseas (NZ). A very diff trip I’ve made so far… a very fruitful one.

I took up a very bad habit. I applied a couple of credit cards in order to enjoy the benefits & priviledges (oh pls dun be deceived! I’m earning <30k). The more I earn, the more convenient it is… the more generous I am…the more i spend!!! I bought alot of clothes, but I have been wearing the same old ones cos they r
"seasoned" hence more comfortable. The new ones… I hardly wear them. *sighs*

I must restrict myself!!! & learn to let go~

Oh gosh! this mornin alone has already been so terrible.

I waited for the bus for >30mins. Board the bus, a lady was standin VERY close to me… she doesnt have B.O. but she didnt keep her umbrella properly!!!! The blardy umbrella was dripping wet!!! & it drenched my right ankle!!!

Finally I squeezed myself further in…. managed to get a seat not long after. Took out my book… flipped to the page, "aye, 7pm got new drama. Xuan Xuan one… u got watch? …. …. …. aiya, those korean dramas very draggy, but got handsome guys so i watch lor~ … … aye, recently my son dl one taiwan variety show, got SHE leh!! Very nice & funny!! … …" 2 AUNTIES were talkin non stop behind me!!! Super buay tahan, I took out my ear piece, plug into my hp, … shit!!! The rubber thingy is missing… OMG~ Cant help it, I plugged into my ears & cupped my right hand over my right ear.

I bet the uncle sitting beside me cant stand those 2 cos he got up & went over to another seat further infront~

*blasting music*

Bought a cup of coffee, went upstairs, set up the laptop. Just when I sit over to the desktop to cancel the room bookin for meeting, my OSCAR dropped!!!! My coffee was right there!!!

Thank God my Oscar didnt drop into the coffee but it spilled all over the table… there goes my $0.60.

*frowns*

Anyone out there know where I can get this fuse? I know RS component has but I only need 1. Thanks.
